1976年、オランダ生まれ。ビジュアルアーティスト。90年代からグラフィティーを始め、平面作品をメインとし、その作品スタイルはグラフィティーからコンセプチュアルアート、イラストからタイポグラフィに至るまで、一見対局と見られるほど多様な分野に根ざした作品づくりを行なっている。

自分の考えや疑問、経験の中でそれぞれの分野を繋ぎ合せ、自分の作品をアウトプットの場として常に進化させている。

現在では手法、瞬間、思考を視覚的に繋ぎ合わせる方法や、異なる分野や背景を関連づける越境方法を探しながら制作過程に集中することで、観客であること制作者であることの間に生じる境界線を定義づけている。

The work of Jeroen Erosie is rooted in various disciplines, from graffiti to conceptual art, from illustration to typography. Jeroen connects these segregated areas in a natural process, reflecting his personal thoughts, doubts and experiences while constantly evolving his visual output as a result.

At the moment he looks for ways to visually connect method, moment and mindset, trying to find a way of work that relates to different disciplines and backgrounds, but concentrates on the making process itself, defining the fine line between being a spectator and a producer.
